About the H.U.G.S. Program

​

H.U.G.S. (Helping Unconditionally and Giving Support) is a district-wide volunteer program supporting teachers and staff in all Woodland Hills buildings. We also host community-wide events such as Trunk-or-Treat, HUGS for the Holidays, Ice Pops in the Park and more! ​Becoming a Volunteer

If you are interested in joining HUGS, please complete the Woodland Hills School District Volunteer Application Form or email us.

Are you interested in volunteering for Woodland Hills School District? Become a WHSD HUGS volunteer! Attend our brief training and we will cover guidelines, how volunteering fits into your schedule and how/where you would like to volunteer. All of our volunteers receive an official volunteer shirt that they can wear while serving the district and weekly emails of the volunteer opportunities available. You can do as little or as much as you'd like! Please sign up and let us know you'll be attending by signing up here! If you need help obtaining your clearances, please feel free to stick around after training and we will assist you! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by email.

Volunteer Guidelines

           

Thank you for your willingness to serve the Woodland Hills School District by sharing your time, enthusiasm, and skills with our students and teachers as well as in other parts of the school district and community!

In an effort to ensure that the H.U.G.S. Volunteers Program reflects the highest level of professionalism and support, Program Guidelines have been established. All H.U.G.S. Volunteers must assume the responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations set forth in our Volunteer Guidelines.
