Six Feet Trick or Treat Event Details

Now, more than ever, students and families need normalcy—and fun—in their lives.

And we know how much you—and the ENTIRE community—look forward to and enjoys our Annual H.U.G.S. Trunk or Treat Event!   The event has provided a safe alternative to typical Trick or Treating for students in our community, where families can gather during day light hours at our High School to visit car trunks decorated with different Halloween Themes.

This year we have a different kind of safety in mind!

In order to remain socially responsible, and socially distant, we are planning a new event: H.U.G.S Six Feet Trick or Treat! This FREE event will take place on Saturday, October 24 from 2-4 PM. Students and families in Woodland Hills will be given two options: Spooky Delivery or our Drive-Boo.  Parents are asked to choose whether to have bags of candy delivered to their home by one of our “henchmen” (volunteers) OR families can visit the District’s former Intermediate School for a spooky drive-thru where they will remain in their vehicle and receive candy at the end.

Sign Ups are NOW CLOSED

We have now passed our October 10 DEADLINE and sign ups are now closed!  For questions regarding sign ups, please email Callie Robinson, at callie.whfoundation@gmail.com

However, we are still accepting:

For questions about sponsorship or hosting a haunt, please email Jennifer Trehar at jennifer.whfoundation@gmail.com

Host a Haunt

We are seeking TWENTY GROUPS to "Host a Haunt". Hosting a Haunt comes at no cost to you or your organization!
The Drive-Boo (Drive-through) portion of our event will circle a loop through the parking lot at the former Intermediate School.  In order to make this a truly fun event, we need twenty groups of no more than four participants each to "Sponsor a Haunt".  Each sponsor will be given a stretch of parking lot space/grass that is thirty feet long.   You do not need to use the entire stretch of space but you will have the full thirty feet to decorate in a theme of your choice! Plus the four participants can stay to "haunt" our guests as they drive through the loop. There will be approximately twenty feet between each "haunt."
Each Haunt Host will have a sponsor sign in front of your haunt (created by the Foundation).  Signs can include your group name/ logo.  You will also be listed on our website, on social media and in the Winter Issue of In Woodland Hills Magazine.
So gather a group of four, choose a theme and sign up today!
Each group is also asked to wear a mask and not to approach vehicles as they drive through the loop.
Think of it as a reverse parade, where the cars will be driving through to see your spooky scene!
AGAIN THIS IS LIMITED TO ONLY TWENTY GROUPS SO SIGN UP TODAY.
Click here to fill out our "Host a Haunt" form or email jennifer.whfoundation@gmail.com.

Thank you for your generous support!
