Now, more than ever, students and families need normalcy—and fun—in their lives.

FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, we bring the Woodland Hills community this socially responsible, and socially distanced event: H.U.G.S Six Feet Trick or Treat!

 

This FREE event features TWO OPTIONS:

 

The Drive Boo is a "haunted" drive through and will take place at the former Intermediate School on Evans Street on Saturday, October 16 from 5-7 PM. Drive through guests are invited to dress up and every child in the vehicle will receive their own treat bag to take home! 

 

Spooky Delivery will take place on the morning of Sunday, October 17 at 11 AM and we will work until all deliveries are made.
 

Our "henchmen" (volunteers) will deliver treat bags to your door!

In order to make this event the success it deserves to be, we need the support of YOU-The Wolverine Community!

With over 2,000 anticipated participants, WE NEED TO PURCHASE CANDY, SUPPLIES and DECORATIONS!

Your donations will be used to make this a Spook-tacular event!

If we raise more money than needed to purchase a sufficient amount of candy, treats and decorations, excess funds will be added to our H.U.G.S. account to be used for future H.U.G.S. endeavors, which are always free or at low-cost to our community.

We need candy! And LOTS of it!


If you would like to donate candy, stickers, temporary tattoos, pencils, erasers or anything else you think kids might like to receive, we have SIX LOCATIONS where our "Candy Monsters" (donation bins) are waiting to devour your treats!

TIMES AND LOCATIONS:
Woodland Hills Administration Building 8 am - 4 pm
Woodland Hills High School: 7 am - 3 pm
Elementary schools: 10 am - 2 pm
Dickson Preparatory School: 10 am - 2 pm

HOST A HAUNT!


We are seeking up to 40 groups to "Host a Haunt" in order to help us create our Drive-Boo on Saturday, October 16 from 5-7 PM.
The Drive-Boo (Drive-through) portion of our event will circle a loop through the parking lot at the former Intermediate School. You'll be assigned a 20-30 foot wide space to decorate in a theme of your choice! Then, stay to wave at cars driving by. You can even act out a scene, pretend your zombies...whatever you want!

 

Each Haunt Host will have a sponsor sign in front of your haunt (created by the Foundation).  Signs can include your group name/ logo.  You will also be listed on our website, on social media and in the Winter Issue of In Woodland Hills Magazine. 

 

So gather a group, choose a theme and sign up today!
Each group is also asked to wear a mask and not to approach vehicles as they drive through the loop.
Think of it as a reverse parade, where the cars will be driving through to see your spooky scene!

SIGN UP FOR DRIVE-BOO OR SPOOKY DELIVERY!

 
Families MUST CHOOSE from the below options and MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE!!!! Deadline: Saturday, October 9, 2021
SPOOKY DELIVERY: with this option, treat bags will be delivered to your home! DELIVERY DATE: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17 11 PM AND ON.
 
DRIVE-BOO: with this option, you will drive to our Halloween Drive-Thru at the former Intermediate Building.  No need to leave your car: each child will be given treat bags at the end of the drive-thru. DRIVE-BOO DATE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16, 5-7 PM.  It will only take 15 minutes to drive-through.  Choose your arrival time on our sign up form!
Please feel free to wear your favorite costume! We'll post pictures of our attendees following the event!
