Letters of Recommendation

If a Woodland Hills High School Student has applied for a WHF Scholarship and has requested that you send a letter of recommendation, it's easy to do so here!  OR You can send/ask the writer to send the letter to jennifer.whfoundation@gmail.com

If you are a TEACHER:

Please be sure your letter answers each of the following:

​

1. How long have you known the applicant/student and in what context?

2. What are some words/phrases that come to mind when describing the applicant/student?

3. Please describe a specific example when the applicant/student demonstrated the qualities named in Question 2.

4. Please add any other comments regarding the applicant’s academic performance, extracurricular activities, or personal characteristics you feel may help the scholarship committee make an appropriate decision when selecting awardees

If you are a COMMUNITY MEMBER:

Please be sure your letter answers each of the following:

 

1. How long have you known the applicant/student and in what context?

2. What are some words/phrases that come to mind when describing the applicant/student relative to their work serving the Woodland Hills community?

3. Please describe a specific example when the applicant/student demonstrated the qualities named in Question 2.

4. Please add any other comments regarding the applicant’s academic performance, extracurricular activities, or personal characteristics you feel may help the scholarship committee make an appropriate decision when selecting awardees.
