Dear Friends,
We are pleased to announce the 2025 Woodland Hills Foundation Starry Night Gala, to be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Edgewood Country Club in Pittsburgh. The evening will include dinner, drinks, a silent auction, and live music and dancing with over 200 anticipated guests.
Once again, the public is invited to NOMINATE those Alumni and Educators who they feel have gone above and beyond for our School District and our community. Nominations will be open through early December.
For the first time ever, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Gala Host Committee. Comprised of trusted friends of the Foundation, our Host Committee includes leaders from the District, business owners, alumni, parents, Rotary Club Members and other community members with one common goal: allowing our students to witness the collective care and vibrancy of the district around them and empowering them to feel encouraged to achieve their greatest ambitions.
Once nominations are closed, the Gala Host Committee, combined with the Board of the Woodland Hills Foundation, will select this year's winners, using a predefined rubric, in order to make the selection process as fair—and meaningful—as possible.
We also hope you'll help us, once again, in choosing the winner for this year's Student Art Contest! This October, our team met with art teachers at Woody High to ask their assistance in promoting our Third Annual Student Art Contest. Students were asked to create a piece of art on the theme of, "A Starry Night in Woodland Hills". The top three pieces will be featured in our Silent Auction for bidding. The winner's art will be featured on our Gala invitation, program, website and more!
Your on-going support of the Foundation and the Woodland Hills School District has allowed us to support our teachers and students in more ways than ever before. The Starry Night Gala will be a celebration of our schools, educators, students and alumni and all of those who are dedicated to their success. We're hoping that you will once again consider supporting us through a Sponsorship of the Starry Night Gala and continuing to help us thrive well into the future.
