THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2025, SOMETHING BIG IS COMING TO WOODLAND HILLS...

JOIN US AT WOODLAND HILLS HIGH SCHOOL ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2025 from 2-4 PM,

for the Woodland Hills Foundation H.U.G.S. 2025 Trunk or Treat!

This SAFE, FREE and FUN event is open to all children and families in Woodland Hills School District! No registration required! This event is RAIN OR SHINE!

Children are invited to come in costume to "Trick or Treat" for candy and other treats at the decorated trunks of 80 school groups, community groups and other businesses in Woodland Hills.

Groups will come together in the Woodland Hills High School parking lot, deck out their trunks with Halloween decorations in the theme of their choice, dress up in their most Spooktacular costumes and hand out treats to our students as they travel from car to car, collecting candy at each stop.

In 2025 over 75 groups signed up to serve as “Trunk Hosts” and over 1,500 children and families attended, making ours one of the biggest, safest, most fun Trunk or Treats in our region.

While the event is free, this year, we are partnering with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to help end hunger in our community. We ask that all guests consider bringing one non-perishable food or hygiene item.

We anticipate this year's event being even bigger--and better!

We’re partnering with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to bring meals to our most in-need students and community members.

While Trunk or Treat is free, we ask all guests to consider donating one non-perishable food item.

Items will be collected at the event and distributed to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
Donation boxes will be placed at various locations throughout the event and in front of our DJ Booth.

Any monetary donations (made online or during the event) will be allocated to our Backpacks of Hope Program, which provides weekend meals for up to 100 of our most in-need students every weekend throughout the year. Donations can be made online or at our DJ Booth.

It will also help ensure that every child who attend  Trunk or Treat gets a full bucket of candy!

Together we can end hunger in Woodland Hills School District.

In 2024, we were almost to Trunk capacity with nearly 80 groups signed up to serve as “Trunk Hosts”, making ours one of the biggest, safest, most fun Trunk or Treats in our region. And we anticipate this year's event being even bigger--and better! So, if you're THINKING of being a Trunk Host, act fast! Space is extremely limited and we already have 13 Trunks signed up in just 4 days! We only have room for up to 80 trunks so click below to reserve your spot TODAY!

Sponsors and Donors Needed.png

We need your help to make this an event our students deserve!  This SAFE, FUN and FREE event is only made possible by the support of friends and donors like you! And while our Trunk Hosts will be providing their own candy, we need to make sure that every trick or treater goes home with a full bag!

Plus, with over 1,000 children collecting candy, some community and parent groups who wish to participate simply do not have the means to both decorate their vehicles and purchase enough candy for every child.

Your sponsorship will allow us to make up the difference to ensure that every group who wishes to participate can and do so without worry!

Help us to ensure that every student goes home happy--and that events like this can continue year-round! Donate today or view or sponsorship packet for more info!

Plus, your donation helps ensure that every child leaves with a full bucket of candy! Once we reach our goal, all funds will be earmarked for Backpacks of Hope!

Sure, there will be lots of candy for the kiddos but what we REALLY all want is PIZZA! And thanks to Mama Meatballs Pizzeria there will be plenty for sale at this year's Trunk or Treat! So bring a few dollars to pick up a slice! Thank you, Mama Meatballs, for always helping us to make this a great event!
