JOIN US FOR THE 2026 WOODLAND HILLS H.U.G.S. TRUNK OR TREAT!

Something BIG is coming to Woodland Hills!

Join us on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM at Woodland Hills High School for the Woodland Hills Foundation H.U.G.S. Trunk or Treat—one of the largest family-friendly Halloween celebrations in the region!

This FREE, SAFE, and SPOOKY-FUN event is open to all children and families in the Woodland Hills School District. Best of all, no registration is required, and the event will take place rain or shine!

Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy an afternoon filled with candy, costumes, and community spirit. Children will trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk as dozens of schools, community organizations, businesses, and local groups transform their vehicles into creative Halloween displays and hand out treats to our students.

Last year, more than 75 trunk hosts participated and over 1,500 children and family members attended, making this one of the biggest and most anticipated Trunk or Treat events in the Pittsburgh area. We're excited to make this year's celebration even bigger and better!

Help Us Fight Hunger in Woodland Hills

While admission is completely free, we invite families to support the Woodland Hills Foundation's Food Security Initiative by bringing one nonperishable food or hygiene item to donate. Collected items will help stock our Backpacks of Hope program and Free High School Pantry, ensuring Woodland Hills students experiencing food insecurity have access to nutritious food and essential personal care items throughout the school year.

Whether you're coming for the candy, the costumes, or the incredible decorated trunks, we can't wait to celebrate Halloween with you. Grab your costume, bring your family, and join us for an unforgettable afternoon of community fun!

We hope to see you on Sunday, October 11!

While Trunk or Treat is completely free, we ask all guests to consider bringing one nonperishable food or hygiene item to help support students experiencing food insecurity throughout the Woodland Hills School District.

All items collected at Trunk or Treat will directly benefit the Woodland Hills Foundation’s Food Security Initiative, which includes both Backpacks of Hope and the Free High School Pantry.

Backpacks of Hope provides weekend meals to students who may not have reliable access to food when school is not in session, while the Free High School Pantry gives high school students access to food, hygiene products, and other essentials they can take home as needed.

Donation boxes will be located throughout the event and near our DJ booth.

Monetary donations made online or during Trunk or Treat will also support the Woodland Hills Food Security Initiative, helping us purchase the food and essential items most needed by students throughout the school year.

Every donation—whether it's a can of food, a hygiene product, or a financial gift—helps us make sure Woodland Hills students have the resources they need.

Together, we can help end hunger in Woodland Hills.

Groups will come together in the Woodland Hills High School parking lot, deck out their trunks with Halloween decorations in the theme of their choice, dress up in their most Spooktacular costumes and hand out treats to our students as they travel from car to car, collecting candy at each stop.

In 2024, we were almost to Trunk capacity with nearly 80 groups signed up to serve as “Trunk Hosts”, making ours one of the biggest, safest, most fun Trunk or Treats in our region. And we anticipate this year's event being even bigger--and better! So, if you're THINKING of being a Trunk Host, act fast! Space is extremely limited and we only have room for up to 80 trunks so click below to reserve your spot TODAY!

We need your help to make this an event our students deserve!  This SAFE, FUN and FREE event is only made possible by the support of friends and donors like you! And while our Trunk Hosts will be providing their own candy, we need to make sure that every trick or treater goes home with a full bag!

Plus, with over 1,000 children collecting candy, some community and parent groups who wish to participate simply do not have the means to both decorate their vehicles and purchase enough candy for every child.

Your sponsorship will allow us to make up the difference to ensure that every group who wishes to participate can and do so without worry!

Help us to ensure that every student goes home happy--and that events like this can continue year-round! Donate today or view or sponsorship packet for more info!
