Woodland Hills Foundation makes $7,800 donation to Woodland Hills School District Music Department
Thanks in part to Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC), the Woodland Hills Foundation has contributed $7,800 to the Woodland Hills School District’s Music Department.
With this donation, the music department will be able to purchase instruments such as violins, flutes, a guitar, drums, etc., for students to use during class and after school, as well as provide new program opportunites for students to learn to play instruments and generally love music.
The Woodland Hills School District Music Department has grown significantly over the past three years with help from monetary donations and support of the Woodland Hills Foundation.
“The Woodland Hills Music Department has benefited greatly over the past few years from the Woodland Hills Foundation. Many more children in our area have been given the opportunity to start a musical instrument because of their generous donations. I can not thank them enough!!” – Mrs. Lora Hertrick, WH Elementary Band Teacher
